Taxi Services
Local taxis are the most popular mode of transport in urban areas for the majority of South Africa’s population. Public transport by taxis account for 65% of transport in South Africa and is also one of the cheapest modes of transport in the country. It is a very informal mode of transport and as such it stops and collects and drops off passengers only at various stopping points. A standard minibus is the most used for vehicle taxi transport.
